Craig Dixon
Craig Dixon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University. He met Christ as his personal Savior in 1974 and is spending his life doing his best to serve Him in the context of all the responsibilities of raising a family, supporting a local church, and building a career.
He started his career as a computer programmer at Marathon Oil in Findlay, Ohio where he spent 14 years working in various business and computer-related management positions in addition to working with smaller subsidiary companies within the corporation.
In 1990, Craig made a career change by leaving Marathon, a large Fortune 500 company, and accepted the position of Operations Director at Century Marketing, which was a smaller, local company. He was quickly promoted to Vice President of Operations in 1991, then to President in 1994 and in 2010, he became the CEO.
As CMC Group’s CEO, Craig managed and worked on both business acquisitions and divestitures during his 25-year tenure at CMC serving in various executive roles for CMC Group, Inc. which is a multi-national company that has had offices and employees in the U.S., U.K., UAE, and Canada. Craig also setup a distribution and warehouse operations in Dubai to serve the Middle East.
The Mission Statement for CMC is “To Birth, Grow and Operate Businesses to Model and Extend the Kingdom of God”. These Core Values and Centurion leadership model was put into place at CMC under Craig’s leadership. He has always had a passion for H.R. Leadership and personal development. This has typically been part of his work responsibilities.
In January 2019, as part of the CMC succession plan, Craig identified and recruited a new President, retiring from CMC in July 2020.
Craig is an active member of his community, serving as an Officer and member on the Board of Directors for a local, very successful and profitable mid-size, fastgrowing technology-based company. As a BG Chamber of Commerce Trustee, he served as President. Craig has also served on the athletic staff at the Bowling Green Christian Academy and as Committee Chairman of Young Life in Wood County. He was also a former cross-country coach for Bowling Green Christian Academy and has run in multiple marathons, including Boston Marathon’s 100th race. His focus is on mentoring/coaching young professionals in balancing faith, family and a career based on Biblical foundations. His goal is to support youthoriented ministries with time, talent, and treasure.
Craig served as an Elder for 11 years at a local church, now serving as Treasurer and Security Team Director and is a long-standing member and contributor of the Leadership Bible Study group in Bowling Green.
Recently joining Pinnacle Forum, where he is not only a partner actively participating in a weekly Bible Study and accountability group, he is also a Forum Facilitator and Developer for Pinnacle Forum.
He and his wife, Libby, were high school sweethearts and have been married for 46 years. They reside in Bowling Green and have 3 married children and 8 grandkids.
Craig’s ultimate life’s mission is to be a faithful follower of Christ as a good husband/father/grandfather and friend and to help in developing leaders that will manage their family and career to model and extend the Kingdom of God.
