“Encourage one another and build each other up…” I Thess. 5:11
We encourage leaders to move beyond earthly success to eternal significance.
In our confidential, peer-to-peer Forums, we encourage and are encouraged to discover and fulfill our own unique Christ-calling for personal and cultural transformation.
“We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.” Colossians 1:28
We equip leaders for personal and cultural transformation in confidential peer Forums.
Our Forums are more than Bible studies. We emulate how Jesus and the apostles equipped the believers, investing our lives in each other in mutual discipleship and the application of biblical truth — gleaned from rich and compelling studies — to all areas of life.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
We engage the culture as we discover our God-given purpose and passion for cultural transformation.
We are all exhorted to seek and find Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Through our Forums we are encouraged, equipped and inspired to seek out and discover how and where God wants us to engage the culture. In doing so we find the answer to the question, “What is God’s unique call for me to be salt and light to the world around me?”
“For you are God’s workmanship, created in Christ to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
We execute intentional strategies for cultural transformation.
As we engage the culture, the Holy Spirit reveals to us the purposes and the works God has prepared for us. We then complete the Four “E” Strategy by choosing to be intentional about the creation, design and execution of Holy Spirit-inspired plans and strategies that enable us to fulfill God’s unique calling upon each of us to be His workmanship.
In 1975, Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, and Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth With a Mission, had lunch together. God simultaneously gave each of them a message to give to the other: “The culture is shaped by seven mind-molders, or mountains, in society. If we can influence each of these areas for Christ, we will win the culture of our nation.”

The good news is that God is moving in an unprecedented way among men and women in the marketplace. Dr. Henry Blackaby says “God is marshalling his people in the workplace as never before in history.” There is a new trumpet call going out to men and women of influence who are recognizing the negative influences in their culture as a wake-up call for action. They are being used by God to influence the Seven Mountains of Culture: Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government & Military, Media and Religion.
Pinnacle Forum Partners have had significant impact…
- in the film-making industry through the production of movies that honor rather than denigrate faith and family;
- in education and the family, through initiatives that empower at-risk youth, advance biblically-based values in public schools, and provide a “Bible as literature” curriculum for public schools;
- in government and law, where Partners provide pro-bono legal assistance to Christians whose religious liberties are threatened and where others occupy positions of influence among top government leaders and have helped elect Christians to public office;
- in service to our veterans, through programs that connect veterans to Christian churches and services that help them work through the “moral injury” of war;
- in evangelism and assistance to the poorest of the poor across the world;
- in the media, through support of Christian radio and being a positive influence in the world of broadcasting;
- in “city transformation” ministries and initiatives;
- in business, where the advancement of the biblical philosophy of “faith and work” has helped change the business climate of an entire city.
Arts & EntertainmentThis mountain of culture has been enormously influential in shaping what has become known as “pop culture.”
In the 1950s and 60s the film industry produced such films as Ben-Hur, The Sound of Music, and The Ten Commandments.
That began changing in the late 1960s, and since then moviegoers have been treated to an avalanche of films denigrating Christianity, biblical values, and God’s design for the family; glorifying violence; and promoting casual sex. Discover how you can impact the culture as a Pinnacle Forum Partner!
But in recent years films friendly to faith and family have begun appearing at the box office, as Christian movie production companies have made their mark and major studios have recognized that there is a market for such films.
Pinnacle Forum partners are playing a key role in this renaissance of faith and family films through their financing, production and distribution exemplified by films such as the highly successful “God’s Not Dead.”
BusinessAmerica is in the midst of an exploding “faith and work” movement within Christianity. Dozens of ministries and organizations across the country are advancing the biblical principle that Christians should not leave their faith behind when they operate in the marketplace, but should conduct themselves and their businesses in ways that honor and glorify Jesus Christ.
Billy Graham has proclaimed that he believes the next great awakening will come from the marketplace through marketplace leaders. Dr. Henry Blackaby states, “God is marshalling his people in the workplace as never before in history.” Find out more about becoming a Pinnacle Forum Partner.
Many Pinnacle Forum Partners are impacting the Business Mountain and the marketplace for Christ, honoring the biblical exhortation that Christ is to be Lord of all, which includes what we do on Monday through Saturday.
Education“The philosophy of the schoolroom in one generation will be the philosophy of the government in the next.”
Widely attributed to Abraham Lincoln, this quote captures the trans-generational importance of education. The education of one generation impacts the future of every aspect of the culture.
Due to legal and other cultural factors, public education, which in the 19th century was so Protestant in character that it spawned the Catholic parochial school movement, has over the past fifty years increasingly rejected biblical values and principles.
This has led to widespread hostility to religious freedom for Christian public school teachers and students alike. Virtually any affirmation of faith, even a student passing out Christmas cards in school, invites criticism and even opposition from school officials and organizations like the ACLU.
Find out more about how Pinnacle Forum is impacting the culture. As an affirmation of Lincoln’s observation, the secularization of public education has in large part led to the increasing secularization of American culture.
Pinnacle Forum Partners, through innovative curriculum and resources, are influencing how public schools across the country teach values and depict the Bible. Other Partners have developed character-building programs for at-risk youth or played roles in the growing Christian and home school movement. Together, these Partners are having an impact on this foundational mountain of culture.
FamilyGod’s design for family has been under assault for decades. Rampant sexuality outside of marriage, an epidemic of divorce and out-of-wedlock births, and cultural and legal attacks on marriage as the union of one man and one woman, have seriously undermined this cornerstone of a healthy, flourishing culture.
Countless studies have documented how the breakdown of the traditional family unit has negatively impacted our culture. For example, on virtually every measurement of socioeconomic, physical and mental health, children in fatherless homes are worse off than children from homes where a father is present.
Discover our Four “E” Strategy here Whether as leaders in pro-family organizations or developers of values-based programs for schools and at-risk youth, Pinnacle Forum Partners are acting on their passion to reverse the cultural decline of God’s design for the family and foster a flourishing, God-honoring culture.
Government & MilitaryThe writings and public statements of the leading Founding Fathers make clear that the vast majority were orthodox Christians. Their worldview pertaining to government and law was distinctly Christian and biblically grounded, and they deeded us a system of law and government consistent with that worldview, a system that has been the envy of the world and a magnet for countless immigrants.
Click here to find out the benefits of becoming a Pinnacle Forum Partner! Sadly, that legacy is crumbling. The constitutional right to the practice of one’s faith and freedom of religion has been turned upside down to mean freedom from religion. The rampant sexualization of culture is being enshrined in laws, ordinances and judicial rulings. The notion of limited government, that sinful human beings cannot be trusted with excessive political power, has given way to the rise of massive government bureaucracies and unprecedented government control over our lives.
The Bible is clear that the fundamental purpose of government is to restrain evil and uphold justice. The Founding Fathers understood this. Pinnacle Forum Partners are working to advance biblical truth regarding evil and justice in the spheres of government and law. They are doing so by helping elect Christian leaders, serving as advisors to government officials, and providing legal assistance to those whose religious liberties are threatened.
MediaThe Media have an enormous influence on how we think, perceive and understand the world around us. The worldview of every person in the Media influences how they report on events and even what they choose to cover or not cover.
Learn more about our Four “E” Strategy Empirical data reveal that the vast majority of “mainstream media” journalists share a worldview that is at best disinterested in Christianity and at worst hostile to it. Not surprisingly, for many years it has been far too common for Christianity and Christians to be portrayed in a negative, inaccurate or unfair light. This has contributed to the increasing secularization of our culture and dismissal of Christianity as worthy of serious consideration.
Pinnacle Forum Partners are impacting this mountain of culture in several ways, including appearing on media interview programs, promoting Christian radio, and creating an organization for Christians in media.
ReligionPolling reveals that as many as 83% of Americans identify themselves as “Christians” or associate themselves with a Christian denomination.
How then to explain the myriad of social ills that plague America?
One answer can be found in a groundbreaking study released by the Barna Group in 2009. This study found that only 9% of American adults have a biblical worldview.
Proverbs 23:7 states, “As a man thinks within himself, so is he.” In other words, how we act is a consequence of what we believe and how we think about the world.
Interested in being a Partner? Find out more here. There are countless reasons why American culture is increasingly in chaos. But without question the fact that too few Americans know the Bible, believe the Bible, and live out what the Bible teaches, explains why we are witnessing the moral calamity that is all around us.
From advancing initiatives that increase exposure to the Bible among both young and old to connecting with ministries that build a strong biblical worldview among teens and college-aged students, Pinnacle Forum Partners are combating the decline of biblical literacy and biblically-based living in our culture.
