Dwight Olson is Founder and CEO of Olson Investment Advisors, LLC. The firm specializes in retirement planning and investment management. Dwight got his professional start working as an assistant manager at Mutual of NY and Phoenix Mutual before founding his investment company in 1977, originally called D.H. Olson Co. In 1988 he co-founded the Norm Evans’ Seahawk Report, a local report dedicated to the Seattle Seahawks.
Dwight has actively shared his knowledge of financial and investment planning. He has been conducting retirement seminars at The Boeing Co. for over thirty years, and he has published columns in the Seattle Business Journal and the Daily Journal of Commerce. He was featured for several years on KIRO radio; he has also been a featured speaker to the clients of CPAs and law firms, and a guest speaker at the American College of Trial Lawyers. He was the Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Board and currently serves as a National Board Member for Pinnacle Forum.
Dwight’s community involvement includes serving as president of Kirkland Rotary, past president of the Christian Executives Officers, executive board member of Kirkland Performance Center, and past president of Action Sports. He was one of the founding members of the Seattle chapter of Pinnacle Forums, now known as C3. He has served as chairman of the board for Pinnacle Forum America and is currently chaplain of the board.
Dwight and his wife Trudy have been married for forty-five years. They enjoy worldwide travel, the performing arts, their church, and community involvement. Dwight has a passion for photography and apologetics. They have been members at Westminster Chapel in Bellevue, Washington, for thirty-five years.
